Nice bunch of notes--you've got a good head for what works in a tune. I imagine you could put together a nice-sized book of hornpipes by now.

Cheers,
-David.

Fan bloomin tastic. I'm stuck on a boat out in the Gulf of Mexico, so only have my practice chanter for company. (Thankfully I didn't bring my pipes, as my luggage didn't manage to make it out to the States with me and have gone to airline baggage heaven). That and the fact that BWW files don't really give a good enough feel for how a tune will sound on the pipes means I rely on Piobmaster to give me a better flavour of how it sounds, especially saved as a WAV file.

So Here's Stuart's Hornpipe in Piobmaster format. I'm loving this one. :D

I just wondered though. Of all the tunes that are on here, it would be great to know if any of them are being played by bands, especially in competition. And if so, which bands, where and when? I think I'll start a thread asking that very question.

Thanks Stuart. This tune has made my day.

Dunno what happened there. Multiple posts, and no file. I'll try again. :?

OK, VP thinks he's sorted the posting problem so I'll have another go.

Fingers crossed. Here's (hopefully) Stu's tune in Piobmaster format.
