Big Stewart

A great place to find new tunes. If you have composed your own tune, you can upload it here to let other pipers learn it and perhaps get some feedback. PLEASE ONLY UPLOAD TUNES YOU HAVE COMPOSED YOURSELF OR HAVE EXPRESS PERMISION FROM THE COMPOSER TO DO SO.
Please only create a new topic in this forum if you are uploading a tune.

Big Stewart

This is a jig that I wrote for Stewart Harris, a larger than life character who is a piper and also is the proprietor of the bagpipe-makers and kilt-hire shop at Luss, Loch Lomond. I hope it capture a bit of the energy of the big man!
It and a number of my other tunes together with tunes by other composers such as Roy Smith, Mark Sutherland, Colin Shearer and others are available in the Denny and Dunipace Collection Vol 1 which can be obtained through http://www.trafford.com/06-1107

For info and to update, the shop at Luss is no more, but Stewart still has a kilt hire and highland supplies business based at the old Lomond motor works building in Alexandria, I think it is now called Lomond outlets!
