There's a song here, or maybe not.

A great place to find new tunes. If you have composed your own tune, you can upload it here to let other pipers learn it and perhaps get some feedback. PLEASE ONLY UPLOAD TUNES YOU HAVE COMPOSED YOURSELF OR HAVE EXPRESS PERMISION FROM THE COMPOSER TO DO SO.
Please only create a new topic in this forum if you are uploading a tune.

There's a song here, or maybe not.

I remember - vaguely - of Val Doonican singing about a spider that came down and sat beside somebody, who proceeded to swallow the spider and then the spider wriggled inside her, or something just as zany- told you it was vague. Then I think he sang about the nursery rhyme 'Old woman who lived in a shoe'. At least, I think he did. Anyway, I have combined my recollections of the two into a wee jig. If you remember the spider song, the melody almost comes out here. Trust me, I'm not a Val Doonican fan, honest!

If you cannot write a tune down that you can play so that they are identical, how can you truly say you know the tune!

Why did this tune got deleted? I`ve downloaded the midi and really liked the melody. Is there any chance of me getting the bww somehow? Thanks in advance!
