A CUP OF TREMBLING - Piobiareachd in Progress

This tune notated somewhat like Roderick Ross' tunes in Binneas Is Boreraig. Literally, according to note values desired in actual expression.

I am not done, and I am sure that there are a few notational errors yet. But I believe that an experienced student of piobaireachd could understand the melody without hearing me play it. It is difficult at first to see notes that are not ties together, no time signature, and no bar lines. That means that you have to think about the pulses as they are drawn out of the melody.

Note that I am certainly not suggesting a revolution in the music. I just do not believe in traditional Piobiareachd Society notation. Like GS McLennan, and Willie Ross's mother, among many others!

Very nice tune.
I did think the Tarluath needed another variation or a lemluath variation before it. Other than that I thought it was a very musical tune.

I'll take your advice, and try adding another variation. Works in progress always benefit from a little objective review...
Thanks,
