Nice forward drive! Maybe a "left side" which adds a little harmonic interest. Do you consider this a hornpipe? Hornreel? A round 4/4 march?

I think some of the new style hornpipes are almost round 4/4 marches, as they often hit a melodic peak at a moderate tempo rahter than fast.

This one of yours comes out nicely without high speed, whatever tune-type it might be.

Another one for my never-to-be-published music book, NOT The Scots Guards, Too.

A pro tune!

Thanks David
You raise an interesting point. I was thinking about it all day!!! When i added the tune it asked me for tune type, and i couldnt answer it!!!..it feels like a hornpipe...but with with a reel/march rythem. They best that i could come up with is "Marchpipe".
Thanks for the reponse!!! By the way, i really like your Hornpipe with the C naturals! Very modern and appealing!! Good work!
Cheers
