THE CARAVAN - Hornpipe

Post by david n. siegel » Tue Sep 04, 2007 6:06 am

A desert hornpipe with lots of C naturals, which one can, it is to be hoped, see as a natural to the piping world.

By the way, when serving up camels, it is always polite to ask the guest he would like, "one hump, or two?"

Note the low A grounding of the final C natural and the folowing B, and the low G grounding for the last low A. I almost play this as a slow bubbly, but watch the timing--not too fast. Check the midi file for timing.

I like it a lot David! Sounds very rock n roll. :) The C naturals are used to great effect. I'm going to learn this one, nice work.
