I left the drumming break in the score. So you'll get a few bars of Drones only.

As I invisioned SFU or FMM or SLOT playing this with rich two- and three-part harmony, I definately heard possibilities.
A "drones-only" part can be tricky. I just happened to do a performance this week with two other pipers, playing with a chorus that requested we continue with just drones at various parts. My drones would not hold well without the chanter. I had to stop and restart--which was ok, but not the original intention.
So, if SFU isn't available, will there be a band giving this work a go?
Good creativity!
-David.

I actually didn't mean that the drones kept playing through the drum break, but I think that could be an intersting idea. Or better yet, the use of a didgeridoo.
It was just how it came out when i wrote the score in BMW, the Drones kept plaing over the rests.

I would be interested to hear the results of a band playing it.So, if SFU isn't available, will there be a band giving this work a go?
