O'Phidian's Flight (Jig)

This jig has been road-tested, and while it might wobble a bit around curves at high speed, there needn't be any fatalities. It can be learned first without the slides (or slurs), or brought up to speed slowly as is. If you've got a license to Jig, the slides can be mastered. Erse Slurs are here to stay. Just think what went on in your head the first time your tutor introduced you to a Crunluath from D--these slides are easier!

I'd love to look at your tunes, but I don't have Bagpipe Music Writer (or whatever it's called); nor do I know anybody who does.

Would it be too much trouble to also post occasional images of your tunes?

cheers,
Alasdair

Alistair,
Well, sometimes the tunes here do :!: miraculously :!: transform into image files, and indeed sometimes into other pipe software formats. Otherwise, I can send some graphic file versions through private email.

Site manager: would it help for me to send graphic files with my BMW versions?

 Unbelievable service! :) You either work in customer service, or you're just a nice, responsive person.

Thanks,
-David.

Thank you! It's a really lovely piece, and in attempting to play it I've just had my jig license revoked. Sigh...

cheers,
Alasdair
