Well I've mentioned a few times that I play the fiddle as well as the pipes and that I play english music on a Tuesday night in Greenwich. At our website www,greentrad.org.uk we've had sheet music to download for years and more recently live recordings to download.
Recently we've brought out two new books - one of Cheshire 3/2 hornpipes and similar tunes, the other of maybe more general interest is a book of a couple of hundred tunes we play in the session. I'll put in a link from the greentrad website hopefully this weekend, but if anyone is interested, it's available from http://www.lulu.com/content/1728036 as a hard copy or download.
The Cheshire hornpipe book is available from http://www.johnofthegreen.co.uk/ but if anyone wants both they should be available at a discount.
If anyone wants to drop by the pub to get one at a discount I'm sure I could manage that. I've some at home I could send direct too.
Shameless plugging ? Me ? _________________ better sharp than out of tune |
