Formed as a Millennium project for the Regiment and the Regimental Association, the Band is going from strength to strength. A non-competing, performance Band we have been to Tattooes and Festivals in Vitebsk, Belarus; Ystad, Sweden; Genoa, Italy; been with WWII vets to Holland and Belgium; and performed before audiences throughout Scotland and the rest of the UK.
We are always seeking new members, always bearing in mind that membership of the RSAPB, as we do not compete, does not automatically bar you from membership of a competing band also, so you can still compete!
You can contact us through our website. |

The Pryde of East Lothian Pipes and Drums is currently being formed. We are a non-profit organisation dedicated to improving piping within East Lothian. The band is named in remembrance of Pipe Major James Pryde MBE who sadly passed away last year. Pipe Major James Pryde MBE was a well respected authority on bagpipe music, he taught a few of our current players who are helping to form the band. The band is booked to take part in the Hausgauen Tattoo in the Alsace region in France later on this year. The band is also planning on competing next year (2010-2011). The band is led by Pipe Major Colin Pryde (James Pryde's Son).
The band is currently looking for experienced players.
If you would like to learn more about the band please visit our website or visit:
